The art of soft light to illuminate your home
I have to admit, when I first received these little houses, it was love at first sight. These ceramic tealight holders are exactly the kind of aesthetic I love — soft colors, floral details, that little something that makes you smile when you come home.
The village effect, my favorite tip
My number one tip? Never display a tealight holder on its own. Put two, three, side by side, and watch the magic happen. A yellow grocery store next to a tea room, a bakery next to a mint blue boutique... it instantly creates a miniature village that adds so much character to a shelf or a windowsill.
That's how I arrange them in my home, and honestly, it's my favorite spot in the room!
The evening ritual
The real magical moment is in the evening. You slip a small tealight candle inside, light it, and then... the light filters gently through all the small open windows. It's soft, it's warm, it's exactly the cozy atmosphere you need after a long day.
I light mine every evening when I get home. It's become a real ritual!
Some ideas for staging them
On a shelf, pair them with a few books, a scented candle, and a small plant. Simple and so pretty.
On a windowsill, by day their enameled colors shine in natural light, and by night the flame reflects in the glass. It's magical.
On a table, arranged in the center, they make an excellent alternative to a classic centerpiece and create a fairytale atmosphere.
Why I wanted them in the shop
These little houses embody exactly what I love and what I try to convey to you through Leaves & Co: the softness of everyday life, warm and flowery interiors, this taste for beautiful simple things. When I first saw them, I knew immediately that they belonged here.
Each house has its own personality: the cheerful yellow Card Shop with its pastel garlands, the mint blue Gift Shop with its flowery window boxes, the imposing and characterful Tea Rooms, the soft and minimalist Pink House... Alone or together, they create this English village atmosphere that I adore.
I hope they have as much of an effect on you as they do on me 🩷
